These sumptuous fiber art pieces are designed and handmade in the San Francisco Bay Area by artist Yunan Ma. She works with the finest natural fibers including merino wool, alpaca wool, mohair, silk and cotton that are carefully selected from the finest yarn mills around the world.
With a fine arts and knitwear design background, Yunan believes art is more than beautiful texture and exquisite craftsmanship. Her inspiration comes from nostalgic childhood memories and objects found in the natural world. She aims to transform and convey stories and feelings through the textures and techniques in her creations. Yunan’s work has been published on NOISÉ NYC and CREATE!MAGAZINE.
