The reception and a short Q&A with the artist will be held outside in gardens at Ground. Refreshments will be served.

About the artist:
Contemporary fiber artist Yunan Ma, sources high quality natural fibers from the finest yarn mills around the world to create her unique handwoven pieces. Originally trained as a knitwear designer, she showed fashion collections on the runway in NYFW before turning her creative eye to fine art. Yunan's inspiration comes from nostalgic childhood memories and she aims to transform and convey stories and feelings through the textures and techniques in her creations. Yunan’s work has been published on NOISÉ NYC and CREATE!MAGAZINE.
