Artist statement:
This grouping of new 3'x3' wall-hangings/rugs and square paintings on wood is a celebration of the dialog within myself as a painter and a textile designer. It is a conversation, a dance between technologies, practices, themes and applications. On a personal and spiritual level the flowers are symbols of change and gratitude and to honor the emotional labor required to bring art into existence.
