In this private class (ages 14+):

• We talk through which succulents do best in Marin and how to place them indoors vs. outdoors.

• Guests learn how to plant in a shallow, well‑draining container, including soil mix and spacing for growth.

• We work through design choices—color pairing, repetition, and balance—for a clean, sculptural Ground feel.

• We share a realistic care routine: watering, light, and how to keep arrangements looking good over time.

Each participant (14+) takes home:

• A custom succulent arrangement in a Ground‑style ceramic or stoneware vessel.

• A concise care guide with watering, seasonal adjustments, and ideas for refreshing the arrangement later.

Private Terrarium Workshop 

This is a private, hands‑on terrarium workshop for groups of six or more, perfect for birthdays, team gatherings, or a creative family night at Ground. Each guest builds a living glass landscape using our curated plants and natural materials.

In this private class (ages 14+):

• We explain how terrariums function as tiny ecosystems and which plants thrive in them.

• You’ll learn proper layering (drainage rock, charcoal, soil) and mossing techniques for a healthy, long‑lasting build.

• We guide each guest through composition—height, texture, and negative space—for a modern, Ground‑style look.

• We close with practical care: light, watering, and simple troubleshooting.

Each participant (14+) takes home:

• One glass terrarium planted with 3–5 small plants, finished with stone and natural accents.

• A printed Ground care card with light, watering, and maintenance guidelines.

• We provide a curated selection of fresh, seasonal flowers and foliage with interesting color and texture.

• Guests learn foam‑free mechanics (like kenzans or chicken wire) and basic flower prep for better vase life.

• We build arrangements together, focusing on form, movement, and balance so each piece feels natural and airy.

• We share tips for refreshing stems, changing water, and getting more days out of your flowers.

Each participant (14+) takes home:

• One medium, table‑top floral arrangement in a reusable Ground vessel.

• A short floral care and conditioning guide to help recreate the look at home.
