Select from an array of locally-grown flowers to press and take home—perfect for capturing seasonal memories. You’ll explore an inspiring collection of pressed flower examples, then try your hand at arranging and mounting pre-pressed florals onto custom cards, ready to frame or gift.

About Jill Sowards

Jill Sowards is a gardener and owner of Violetear Studio.  She teaches classes on a range of gardening topics throughout the bay area and online, along with garden design and consultations.  No matter the subject, her foundation is always on ecological gardening, waterwise practices, and sharing her love of native plants.  Originally trained as a public interest lawyer, Jill believes that all people can benefit from building a nurturing connection with the joy of the garden.  Her own garden is in the Berkeley hills, which she cultivates with the help (or hindrance) of her family and a rescue hound.
